I built a sighting device for my G-200 using carbon fiber arrow shafts epoxied to rectangular mounting pads made from scrap fiberglass. I cut a vertical slot into the forward mounting pad to allow for up-down adjustments. Thinner triangles of scrap fiberglass were used for the stiffeners and gussets.

The result is a sighting device that's very light yet stiff enough to withstand Advanced aerobatic maneuvers without breaking or fluttering.
